Earth is the fabled colony of the Thirteenth Tribe, referenced in scripture and lore. It is believed by many to simply be myth. In the re-imagined series and in the BSH roleplay, Galactica and her fleet leave the Colonies and search for Earth to be their new home. Hyperion does not follow Galactica on this mission, but remains to fight for the Colonies.
